Reading these short, sometimes interconnected stories just made my day. While some made me a little sad, most will just bring a smile to your face because they are so relatable. In Fannie Flagg's warmhearted style, she first introduces us to an alien sent to earth to observe and discover just what we humans are up to. These stories are mostly lighthearted ways to deal with life and its challenges - and I think we can all use some of that right now. I actually ended up listening to the audiobook of this, narrated by the author, and it was wonderful.
