She has to hide the truth, because she knows that if her mother finds her, she'll kill her. But when 6-year-old Georgie comes home from school talking about a new imaginary friend who knows way too much, Camille is terrified.
This was a gripping psychological thriller that had me turning the pages as fast as possible. Because just what was happening here? Told in the present as well as in the past via therapy sessions, you can feel the fear that Camille is experiencing for the safety of her family. I was shocked at the ending and never saw that coming. I'm on to read the next book because I have to see what happens!
