Jane Jackson was a former teen TV character, but the experience left her scarred and feeling not worthy of love. Twenty years later, she's desperate to get a movie made that she truly believes in, and just maybe someone from her old cast can help her. But to make that happen, she has to turn to Dan Finnegan, the last person she wants to owe, for help.
Because this book was written by Annabel Monaghan, you already know you're going to love it, and you will really love it! Jane has let her past color all her future hopes of love as well as a good relationship with her mom. Seeing Dan's big, loud family just amplifies what she doesn't have or feel worthy of. You'll be rooting for and loving all of these characters, including the secondary ones (Dan's dad - swoon!). Full of emotion as well as life lessons that had me alternately laughing out loud and in tears. Be sure and add this one to your summer reading list.
