Jo and Will are the seemingly perfect happy couple. Will is a drama teacher and aspiring actor while Jo is a partner in a seamstress business and they are trying for a baby. But one day, he left for work and didn't come home. A year later, Jo still can't get over him and move on with her life. When her best friend, Louise, encourages her to take a holiday, she starts looking at listings for house sitters. In one listing, she sees pictures of Will on a mantle. Jo gets accepted to house sit and sets out to find answers - but will she like the answers she gets?
While somewhat predictable and unrealistic, still a good, enjoyable escape read.
