Coming home from their daughter's lacrosse game, a carjacking goes horribly wrong and the Bennett family will never be the same. The next thing they know, the FBI is at their door explaining that the suspects were part of a drug-cartel and that the Bennett's are in danger. They must become part of the witness protection program. But that starts a whole different chapter of trouble for the family.
From the opening paragraph, this book will grab hold of you and won't let go. It's a tense, pulse-pounding thriller that shows how an average family can get swept up into events that are out of their control. As always with Scottoline's books, the characters become real and you feel for all of them. Highly recommended - don't miss this thrill ride!
