Lewis just lost his job, his boyfriend, and roommate and is desperate for money when he is talked into providing end-of-life care for his homophobic, grumpy old neighbor, Chester - a situation that neither is happy about. But the two slowly come together and when Chester asks Lewis for his dying wish, the two set out on a road trip in Chester's old Winnebago.
You know exactly what you will get when you read one of Catherine Ryan Hyde's novels - a book that will make you think, touch all your emotions, and hopefully come out a little better person. This one was definitely no exception - the characters were amazing and as I am currently caring for my elderly mom, I found myself highlighting passages to keep in mind. Highly recommended!
