Many thanks to NetGalley and Harlequin/Park Row Books for gifting me a copy of this wonderful thriller by Annie Ward, a great follow up to Beautiful Bad. 4.5 stars rounded up!
This story centers on three women in a wealthy Colorado town. Natalie is the administrative assistant at the private school which is full of entitled students, jealous and overindulgent parents. Brooke and Asha's daughters used to be best friends but now there's trouble there as well as in their marriages. Natalie catches the eye of Coach Nick, but also worries about his involvement with Brooke and Asha. Then there are the two bodies being carried out of the school; Natalie can't remember her involvement. in that scene but she's being interviewed by the police.
I loved this book and couldn't put it down! There are lots of twists and turns in these people's lives that we love to hate and I found myself still cheering them on. I loved how the police transcripts were intermingled in the story. This is just a fun, twisty thriller that will keep you glued to the pages!
